Emergency Defibrillator finally installed at Castlecroft

After an idea was raised at council to install public defibrillators which was then passed several years ago, the planned installation of one at Castlecroft has finally been installed.

Several business owners and workers were trained in CPR and the use of the Defibrillators in anticipation for the install of these around the town but it has took the council almost 3 years later to complete what was agreed to originally in council.

The defibrillator can be accessed in an emergency by dialling 999 and requesting the code to the box. The front of the box contains this as well as additional info on what to do in an emergency.
