Country singer ‘Big Tom’ sadly has passed away this morning surrounded by his loved ones.
FUSE FM presenter and friend of Big Tom, Alastair Coyles reacts to the sad news.
“Really saddened to hear the news of my dear friend & idol Big Tom passed away this morning.
Over my years in music Tom was my biggest influence.
On all my albums i have recorded alot of Big Toms songs & on the 50th year since Tom recorded (Gentle Mother)i brought out the tribute song (Big Tom Sang Gentle Mother).
Now your together again with Rose.
But you have left a wonderful legacy behind.
Thoughts are with your family & friends”
