24 February 2019 McAuley Multimedia Police Search and Rescue Teams recover a knife from the River Braid on Sunday afternoon Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a man in the Harryville area of Ballymena.A post mortem will take place in due course. It's understood the remains were discovered in the early hours of this morning.  A large police cordon remains in place near Railway Street and the Harryville Bridge has been closed. BREAKING: The Police Search and Rescue Teams have recover a knife from the River Braid following the discovery of a body in the Harryville area of Ballymena.

The body of a male is believed to have been discovered in the early hours of this morning believed to be inside a Simon Community hostel, where he was a resident.

The knife was later discovered on Sunday afternoon in the nearby River Braid.
