Communities urged to take part in community facilities digital survey

Do you own or manage a community facility in the Causeway Coast and Glens area?

As part of the £3.8m European Union Peace IV Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body, the Shared Spaces project is mapping all community owned and managed facilities.

As it nears conclusion, anyone involved with a community facility who has not previously taken part is being encouraged to complete a digital survey in order to identify the support needed to sustain, promote and manage the buildings.
The survey will capture facilities that are used for community, social, religious, sporting and cultural activities, whilst also providing demographic information on regular users.
To get involved please contact Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council’s Shared Space Research Officer Rory Flanagan by emailing rory.flanagan@causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk or call 07517988167. The survey can be completed at your premises and at a time convenient for you. No additional participation is required and it will only take 15 minutes to complete.
Following the research, an online directory of community based activities and buildings will be put together. It is hoped this will enhance opportunities for greater use of community facilities across the Borough.
This project has been supported by the EU’s PEACE IV Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
