Local Ballymoney man, Sammy McClemments and friends have helped raise £4,000 so far for Macmillan Cancer after their sponsored walk from Coleraine to Ballymoney on Saturday (20th) morning
For several years now Sammy has raised money throughout the year, including a collection at the Diamond area of the town and this sponsored walk on behalf of the charity Macmillan cancer, helped by friends and family,
The group began their walk earlier this morning from Lamonts Fireplaces in Coleraine to Ballymoney Royal British legion where they enjoyed some well deserved refreshments.
£4,000 has been raised from the sponsored walk with more money yet to come in. Sammy has said after completing the walk.
