McCool’s Supervalu Ballymoney have said they are interested in starting an in-store food collection to help those who are elderly and vulnerable during the COVID-19 outbreak.

In a message from the store manager Jordan to the new Causeway COVID-19 Community Help Group he says:

“We have seen this group for helping the elderly and vulnerable during the coronavirus outbreak.

We would be very interested in starting a food collection instore where customers can buy that extra item and donate it into a trolley at the door.

If you could find someone for us that could pick it up on a weekly basis and distribute it to people who are in need of it.”

If you or your organisation think that could help be a distributor, than please get in touch with the Causeway COVID-19 Community Help Group or the store directly, 028 276 63500.

Causeway COVID-19 Community Help Group was set up just last week and has amassed over 8,000 members already. “It’s simple – if you need help, ask. If you can help, respond out of the goodness of your heart.”
