A Heron, which has been named locally as ‘Harry’, has become quite a celebrity with locals, especially over the last few nice days, who visit, feed and snap pictures of the bird.
The Riverside park has received bad press for several years now due to the state its been left even after work to create a new wet land area was completed.
But one special bird is attracting people to the river end of the ‘Duck Pond’ as it’s known around Ballymoney.
The Heron or ‘Harry the Heron’ has been spotted for several months now but the good weather has increased interest in this ‘celebrity’ bird.
