A number of local Primary Schools and teachers have been shortlisted as finalists in the upcoming ‘Families First NI Education Awards’, hosted at Titanic Belfast on February 7th.
Amongst those schools short-listed in Co Antrim include – William Pinkerton PS Dervock, Kilmoyle PS Ballybogey, Garryduff PS Ballymoney, Eden PS Ballymoney, Dunseverick PS and Bushvalley PS Stranocum.
The head teachers from both Eden and Garryduff PS are finalists in the ‘Best Head Teacher’ category for Co-Antrim.
Whereas teachers Rosemary Cochrane Garryduff PS, Nicole Allen Eden PS and Miss Jacqui Galbraith William Pinkerton PS – are finalists in the ‘Best Teacher’ category.
Mrs Hall from Eden Primary School, is also shortlisted for ‘Best Complementary Staff’ at the awards ceremony.
