A group from Ballymoney, led by Sammy McClements, has raised over £9,000 for MacMillan Cancer.
Throught various events, including a sit out and charity walk from Coleraine to Ballymoney, Sammy was able to hand over a substantial cheque to the charity.
Handing over the cheque for £9,340 to the area manager for the charity, Maria Small, Sammy thanked those involved in reaching this total.
“I would just like to thank everyone who contributed to this amazing total.”
Paying tribute to his team of fundraisers he continued,
“A special thanks to Doris, Heather, Irene and Noel and everyone who helped collect and took part in the sponsored walk. Another successful year for a worthy charity.”
