The Cornfield Eco Warriors to feature on BBC Countryfile

The Cornfield Project in Coleraine will feature on this weekends BBC 1 programme Countryfile, as their Eco Warriors are showcased.

Filmed recently, the Countryfile team spend a full day at the project site, which is situated in previously unused land situated between the Milburn and Ballysally estates. Along with the Eco Warriors were pupils from the two local schools from both estates.

On the BBC website the show is listed as follows

Countryfile Ramble for BBC Children in Need – In the fifth annual event, the team heads out across the UK to meet inspirational youngsters who have been helped by the charity. Matt Baker takes on a challenge laid down by 14-year-old Ethan, who was born with cerebral palsy, while Ellie Harrison and Steve Brown lead the biggest ramble of all along the city of Worcester’s riverside.
John Craven leads a walk through the grounds of Perthshire’s Scone Palace, Anita Rani is on Cornwall’s north coast, Adam Henson is in Glenariff Forest Park in Co Antrim, and Tom Heap is in South Wales.’

The programme will be broadcast this Sunday, 27th October 5pm on BBC1.
