The Northern Health trust has revealed that following, what the trust calls a ‘serious adverse incident’, that a Male has died.
The Male was transferred to the Royal Hospital in Belfast following the incident, but died on Saturday 6th July.
The trust released the following statement.
“The patient was transferred to the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast but sadly, he passed away.
“(the trust) are instigating a Level 3 Serious Adverse Incident investigation, which will be independently led”.
The details of the incident have not yet been released but PSNI and the Health & Safety executive have been notified.
