BALLYMONEY: Eastermeade Gardens burglary appeal

Detectives are appealing for information following a report of a burglary at a house in the Eastermeade Gardens area of Ballymoney yesterday, Thursday, 3 October.

At approximately 7.50pm when the occupants of the house returned home they discovered that their home had been entered. It is not believed anything has been stolen.

Detective Inspector McKenna said: “I would appeal to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area of Eastermeade Gardens between 7.30pm and 7.50pm yesterday evening to contact detectives at Coleraine on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1634 03/10/19. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.

“I would also ask the community to look out for their neighbours, especially older and vulnerable people. If you can, check on them to make sure that they are ok. If you feel they would benefit from some crime prevention advice please contact your local station on 101 and ask for the Crime Prevention Officer.
