‘Be Vigilant’ of potential white goods Facebook scam!

Police have issued a warning to those buying white goods on social media to be ‘vigilant’, making sure they work before payment.

This follows reports to police of persons selling white goods on social media sites.

BUT when goods are delivered and paid for they don’t work and the persons Facebook is then deactivated.

Inspector Stevie Burns has warned buyers to ;

“Please be vigilant incase this is a new scam and check the product works before payment is made. If it sounds too good to be true in normally is.”
