The Leisure & Development Director of Causeway Coast and Glens Richard Baker, has issued an update on the JDLC Ceiling Replacement to councillors.
The correspondence reads as follows;
“Dear Councillors, Following the procurement exercise and submission of all necessary work documentation, I can confirm that contractors started work at 7am this morning erecting scaffolding to allow for the replacement of the entire suspended ceiling at Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre.
“Based upon the programme of works, including demobilisation and cleaning, the anticipated reopening of the swimming pool is likely to be early to mid-December.”
