Newly elected Councillor John McAuley pledges his help and support to the community following his succesful election campaign.

Speaking to the Ballymoney Bubble earlier, newly elected councillor John McAuley said;

“To receive 831 1st preference votes in my first election is unbelievable and I can’t thank the community enough for their support and encouragement throughout the campaign which I gave 100%, it is now my time to support you as your local councillor.
I am a working class, family man who is well aware of the daily pressures facing large sections of the community and promise to be a strong voice and a dedicated, hard-working member of the Local Council.
I would like to thank my campaign team for their help, with a special mention to Mervyn Storey MLA who has been a great source of knowledge and encouragement to me since entering the local politics scene.
Finally, I thank my Wife Audrey and Son Alfie for their help and understanding as I definitely could not have done it without their support, which I know I will continue to get as I start my role as a Causeway Coast and Glens Councillor.”
