A 30 year old man has been charged with making use of a firearm to resist arrest, criminal damage, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence and possession of a firearm or imitation firearm with intent to cause fear or violence.
He is due to appear at Antrim Magistrates Court on Tuesday 5thNovember. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
For guidance – the charges are in relation to a number of incidents in the Maple Drive area of Coleraine on Sunday 3rd November.
