Multiple burglaries in Ballymoney area

Detectives in Coleraine are investigating reports of three burglaries at commercial premises in the Ballymoney area on Friday 10th January.

The three burglaries are believed to have taken place in the early hours of Friday morning and occurred at a café on the Newbridge Road, a shed belonging to a car dealer on the Taughey Road and a shed at a golf club on the Ballinlea Road in Stranocum.

A black Audi A5 was taken from the premises at Taughey Road and has yet to be recovered.

A number of items were taken from the premises at Ballinlea Road including a leaf blower, a power washer and a paraffin heater.

Nothing of value was reported to have been taken from the café. At this stage detectives believe the incidents may be linked.

Detectives are appealing to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in any of the locations mentioned to contact them in Coleraine on 101 quoting reference number 243 10/01/20.
