The enforcement of pay and display car parks in Ballymoney will be handed over to a new provider from November 1st.

The appointment was made by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council and from November 1st 2019 the service will be carried out by Car Park Services Ltd.

An extensive engagement process has been ongoing with all parties to ensure the changeover is as seamless as possible.

New signage will be put in place in all Pay and Display off-street car parks located within the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council area and the new car park Traffic Attendants will wear a predominantly blue uniform.

Parking regulations remain the same, and members of the public are asked to continue to follow these key guidelines:

Park appropriately within the markings of a parking bay.

Pay for parking via the Pay & Display machine or use the cashless option and  pay for your parking using your mobile phone, smartphone users can download a free app. All details on cashless payments can be found on the side of all P&D machines in each car park.

There will be no change to Pay and Display machines and location codes for cashless parking will remain the same.

Season tickets will still be available at a discounted price in all Council car parks. To enquire or purchase one of these tickets either on a monthly or quarterly basis please contact 028 9023 0767.

Traffic Attendants will continue to carry out random enforcement patrols as before and any vehicle found to be in contravention will be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).
