The clearance of the former Taggart’s Yard is underway in preparation for the construction of the new LIDL store.
The new £5.75m concept store recently received planning permission after make changes to the plans, originally submitted in May 2018.
Speaking about the new store the company revealed that it would provide a ;
“high quality shopping environment with more space, wider aisles, longer tills, restroom and baby-changing facilities.”
The current store, opposite the new site, will remain open till the completion of the new store.
