Following an inspection on May 15th this year and the issue of a ‘failure to comply’ notice, Ratheane Private Nursing home have had a follow up re-inspection.
The enforcement issued to the care home was in relation to Two failure to comply notices relating to governance arrangements and the health and welfare of patients.
Compliance has now been achieved according to the RQIA, as of the 5th July.
A spokesperson for RQIA has confirmed to the Ballymoney Bubble that,
“Following an RQIA inspection last week we found that the service (Ratheane Private Nursing home) had made the necessary improvements to comply with regulations as set out in our enforcement notices.“
