Two men aged 46 and 32 years old have been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent. The 46 year old man has also been charged with common assault.
The charges are in relation to an assault of a man in the Society Street area of Coleraine on Thursday 2nd January, in which he received serious head injuries but not believed to be life threatening.
Both men are due to appear at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Friday 3rd January. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
