Two men have appeared in court this morning charged with a number of offences following an alleged assault in the Society Street area of Coleraine on Thursday, January 2nd.
Kenneth Ramage (46) of Society Street Coleraine and David McMullan (32) of Dunhill Road Macosquin, were charged with ‘Grevious Bodily Harm’ on their alleged victim and ‘Attempting to prevent the course of justice’.
Ramage has also been charged with ‘Common assault’ of another male.
The defendants have been remanded in custody to Prison at Maghaberry and their cases adjourned.
Mr Ramage will appear at a Magistrates’ Court sitting at Coleraine Courthouse on the 6th January, with Mr McMullan to appeal on the 13th January, also at Coleraine Courthouse.
