Ian Paisley has yet again come under fire over luxury holidays taken by the North Antrim MP and his family after more revelation came to light on a BBC TV programme.
The revelations were part of a BBC Spotlight investigation programme which aired last night.
The Sinn Féin MP Michelle Gildernew has said the DUP has serious questions to answer following more revelations about Ian Paisley’s luxury holidays to the Maldives.
Michelle Gildernew said:
“The latest revelations about DUP MP Ian Paisley’s luxury holidays in the Maldives raise serious questions.
“Previously the DUP said it was carrying out an internal investigation into Ian Paisley’s luxury holidays but six months on there have been no answers, outcome or conclusion.
“The DUP and Ian Paisley cannot continue to treat the public like fools.”
Mr Paisley last year served a suspension from parliament due to a previous undeclared holiday and these two further holidays to the Maldives will most certainly come under the same scrutiny.
