Emergency services attended an incident at the International North West 200 Paddock in Portstewart on Sunday morning.
NIAS despatched emergency crews to the scene. The Charity Air Ambulance was also dispatched to the incident.
It is understood that the incident involved a team crew member falling from the tailgate of a lorry with a heavy box landing on top of him.
The patient sustained fracture injuries and is being transferred to Causeway Hospital by road ambulance, after reaching care form Doctors and Paramedic flown to the scene by the HEMS Air Ambulance
