Village remembers Ian Patterson with community fundraiser Saturday 16th March.

The village of Articlave will remember Ian Patterson, who sadly died following an electrical incident in his home shed on January 18th this year, with an upcoming fundraiser in the village.
Ian, a well liked and respected resident in the village, had been working in his shed when he received an electric shock from a light fitting. Unfortunately due to a local defibrillator having not been registered, it’s was unable to be obtained to assist in reviving Ian.
Emergency services arrived on scene including the Air Ambulance but all efforts to revive Ian were unsuccessful.

The village now plan to hold a fundraiser on behalf of Ian at the ‘Village Tavern Bar’ on Saturday 16th March, with all proceeds going to the Air Ambulance.

It all starts with a BIG BREAKFAST, which includes free tea or coffee, from 9am to 1pm at a cost of £5.
Enter the POOL COMPETITION for only £2 which begins at 6pm sharp with registration before 5.30pm. Ian’s family have also kindly donated the trophy’s for the competition winners.
Then finish the night with a DISCO from 9pm to late, free entry, but a raffle will take place on the night and all extra donation are welcome.
Again all proceeds will go to the Air Ambulance.
